Below Average "began" in April 2019. Nicklas Nelson, the "owner," current vocalist, guitarist/bassist, and (kinda) drummer of Below Average, had released vocal covers, pretty bad ones at that, to famous songs by Metallica, Godsmack, and some others he can't remember. During a festival in 2019 in his hometown, he performed his first "set" ever. 9 songs in 1 hour. Quite the challenge when you're playing 6-8 minute songs. After Covid struck in March of 2020, he, well, didn't get anything done for the band. Until now. In February/March of 2021, he worked semi-hard getting new covers out, and going live on YouTube and Twitch. However, that fell short... no worries though, he has not given up, and is working on playing drums live on YouTube and has a new song, titled "Death Awaits," which is out NOW on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and MORE!!
